A Letter From The Story Orgy...

Hello faithful orgiasts who bounce between our blogs every week… we love you. We really, most whole-heartedly do. You are the reason we six became a group in the first place! We wanted to post free gay fiction that was sometimes spooky, often smexy, and always romantic, and we have done some pretty amazing things in the last two years. The Story Orgy has self-published three anthologies—And the Prompt Is… Volume One, And the Prompt Is… Holiday Edition, And the Prompt Is… Road Trip—and one anthology through Breathless Press, Word Play. We've donated hundreds of dollars to charities from the sales of these collections, and all because of you! On our blogs, we've posted thousands and thousands of words, introduced you to dozens of characters and any number of dramatic scenarios, not to mention lots and lots of hot, steamy sex scenes. Oh yeah, can't forget the steamy sex scenes!

And so, with the start of a brand new year, your Story Orgy writers have to admit something. We're tired. Really tired! We've been writing so hard and so fast to keep our weekly posts interesting and sexy and surprising, that often times we don't have time to write other stories for our publishers. Some of us have Evil Day Jobs (EDJs) that eat up a lot of our time as well, and then we need to make time to spend with families and friends, as well as a bit of sleep now and then. So, yeah, we admit it: we're a little used up.

Which brings us to the classic line: It's not you, it's us. You see, a little while ago, the Story Orgy met in our secret Story Orgy room and hashed some things out, and we've decided that we're not going to post weekly reads on our blogs for the foreseeable future. We know! It was difficult for us to say it ourselves! However, while there will no longer be guaranteed weekly posts, keep an eye out for posts from time to time as we try out new stories or characters, or ask for prompt suggestions from you for a new anthology, or maybe even let you know about some fantastic give aways. This new arrangement will also give us more time to work on some exciting new Story Orgy anthologies we hope to have available throughout the year.

So, while the weekly Monday posts will no longer be there waiting every week at 6:00 AM, we certainly won't forget about you, our faithful readers. We hope you'll still comment on our Facebook posts and follow each of us not only in our future Story Orgy collaborations, but also our individual publishing events as well.

Thank you, you wonderful readers who have come to feel like family to us, for an amazing two years of fun and hot, sexy stuff. We look forward to expanding on the Story Orgy name in the years ahead and hope you're as excited about the things to come (hee hee) as we are.

Much love,
The Story Orgy

Tino is drawn to a force he's never encountered before. Levi is minding his own business running an errand. Tino, meet your force to be reckoned with.

Levi just wants to stock up on some snacks and survive his high school reunion, in that order. But when a walking talking sex-on-a-stick appears in the gas station and clears the place out with just a few words, he realizes that tonight just might be lucky for him.

Get Shacked Up with Hank Edwards!

Hank Edwards's latest book, Shacked Up, is available at Loose Id's website beginning June 5, 2012! Grab on and hold tight as Mark Beecher and FBI Agent Aaron Pearce take you on another sexy, suspenseful ride, this time through the streets and glamor of Washington, DC. Are you ready to get Shacked Up?
Blurb:
When Mark Beecher moves in with Special Agent Aaron Pearce while he's recovering from his injuries, Pearce gets more than a live-in boyfriend. First, they're tailed by a mysterious driver, then missing data discs brings danger right to their door.

Excerpt:
Mark woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. He sighed and rolled over in bed, pressing his hard-on into the mattress and his face into Pearce’s pillow. The sheets on Pearce’s side of the bed were still a little warm against his bare skin, and he breathed in the man’s scent from the pillowcase. It was the same scent he had first noticed back in January, when Pearce had pushed him into a freight elevator in the FBI’s Detroit office. At that moment, Mark had simultaneously hated and wanted Pearce, and now, just a few months later, here he was, living with the man.

Life was strange.

Mark rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. Pearce’s ceiling. Pearce’s bed. Pearce’s apartment. Mark’s belongings still sat in boxes stacked in the spare room. Some weekend soon, when Mark wasn’t working a party, he planned to sort through his things. Maybe grab some CDs for his car. If he was lucky, maybe Pearce would invite him to unpack some stuff, add a few items to the apartment. Hell, Pearce might even suggest Mark add his CDs to the collection in the living room. Not mix them together—nothing that crazy—but maybe get a shelf or two of his own.

He had found it was tricky to know where he could place things in the apartment. Pearce was a territorial animal; Mark had seen that when he had added his toiletries to the bathroom. Pearce had come along after him and rearranged things in the medicine cabinet and on the countertop. The man seemed to have his apartment ordered just as he liked, and Mark couldn’t help feeling like an intruder. If only Pearce would help him figure out where he could put some things, maybe clear off more than one or two shelves for him. But each time Mark asked, Pearce would make noncommittal sounds of agreement and never follow through.

Pearce had been nodding off on the sofa when Mark had gotten home last night just after eleven. The drive home had been uneventful; Mark hadn’t noticed anyone following him, and he was exhausted from working the dinner party with Audra and Brenda. Darlene had had to go home and take care of her daughter.

Mark had touched Pearce’s shoulder to wake him, and the man got to his feet, eyes still glassy with sleep. They hugged, shared a quick kiss, and went to bed together. No mention of the red Escort or the daily frustrations at the job. Just two exhausted people living together and trying to make it work.
Now Mark’s cock pulsed, and before he could reach down to take hold of himself, the bedroom door eased open. Mark raised his head and squinted in that direction, smiling at the blurry vision of Pearce peering in at him around the door.

“Morning, sleepyhead,” Pearce said and stepped into the room. “Well, I see not all of you is a sleepyhead.”

Mark chuckled and stretched, arching his back and pushing his hard-on up against the thin sheet. He could feel the damp spot of precum soaking into the material. After the stretch, he turned his head to smile up at Pearce, who had moved around to stand over him on his side of the bed. Pearce wore a pair of thin cotton sleep pants, the front now tented out with his interest. Mark looked up along Pearce’s bare torso and ran his hand through the dark, trimmed hair that covered Pearce’s flat belly. “Hi, there.”

“Need some help with that?” Pearce asked, his gaze locked on the bulge of Mark’s erection beneath the sheet.

“You know, I could use some help with this.” Mark pulled the sheet away. “It’s so big and awkward, it’s too much for me to handle all on my own.”

Pearce knelt beside the bed and, grinning, leaned in to give Mark a soft kiss on the lips. After backing off a few inches, Pearce smiled at him, then moved down to suck Mark’s nipple, making Mark pull in a quick breath through his teeth. Pearce swirled his tongue around the hardened nub, then drifted lower and parted the dark blond hair on Mark’s chest and belly with his tongue. The whiskers along Pearce’s jaw brushed against Mark’s cock, and he groaned at the sensation. A moment later, the hot width of Pearce’s tongue painted the shaft with saliva from the tip to the root and back again. When the sudden, wet heat of Pearce’s mouth closed around his cock, Mark gasped and raised his arms over his head to clutch the rails of the headboard.

“Oh God,” Mark groaned. “Now this is a wake-up call.”

Hop Against Homophobia

Discrimination is wrong.

My father and mother are fine with it as long as I never talk about it. My friends don't mind at all as long as I never bring it around them. My co-workers pretend I'm not by never engaging me in simple conversation.

As long as they get the watered down version of me they're happy. As long as they don't have to think about who I love they accept me. As long as I don't flaunt my other side everything is peaceful.

For them.

A part of me is dying, fading away to nothing. Hiding who I am and who I love for the benefit of others. Being only half of my true self.

So I love you mom and dad, I need you my friends, I respect you my co-workers.

Let me introduce you to me. I love, need and respect myself also. This is my life, and it is my job to take care of me. I refuse to let half of myself drown while I'm around you anymore. Because even though my one half is terrific...my whole being is phenomenal. Don't worry, I'll show you the way.

It's time to throw a pebble in the pond.

Graham's Gift is at ARe!!!

Graham's Gift now available at ARe...

Our beautifully talented Goddess of The Story Orgy Em Woods's terrifically enticing book Graham's Gift is now available for purchase at All Romance e-books (ARe). So swing on over and pick up a copy if you haven't already...this one is a must read! *big smiles*

Graham's Gift

When a recluse is trapped with the man of his dreams, will his Christmas wishes come true...even in spite of himself?

When Michael Danner sacrifices safety to get a glimpse of the man he's been lusting after for years, he and his tow truck end up stranded in the blizzard of the season.

Reclusive local cabin owner, Graham Wolsken, is pissed as hell to find the man of his dreams half-frozen in the blizzard raging outside. Rescuing him is the easy part. Resisting him? That remains to be seen.

Will Michael be able to show Graham that love is the greatest gift or will Graham be left holding onto nothing?

Excerpt:
Stupid, stupid holidays.

Graham Wolsken slammed the refrigerator door shut, the sound loud in his empty cabin. He almost dropped the can of Coke he was holding under his arm, but managed to get the bologna and provolone cheese to the counter before he sacrificed his last pop.

He slid open the bread bin for his standard has-no-nutrients white bread and pulled out two slices for his sandwich. No doubt Victor and Alex would be all over his ass about it if they saw. Trent too.

Clenching his teeth, Graham flicked the wooden bin door closed. Another loud bang in the emptiness. He sucked in a deep breath. Idiotic thoughts like that caught him off guard. Exhaling slowly, he let the old hurt go along with the air from his lungs. "Trent’s not here anymore, Graham. Get over it already."

And talking to himself never helped, either, though that was a far shade better than hanging out in his head with useless thoughts of a dead lover.

He brushed his hair out of his face, blowing at it when it fell back again. Graham added a mental note to stop at the barber shop in town next time he went for groceries.

He slapped together the sandwich in quick, practised movements, cracked the top of his Coke and carried the duo into the living room where he’d set up a small table by the fireplace. The place was barren even by his standards, but he never seemed to find the right style to fit when he stopped in the furniture store in Newberry.

That was one thing about the Michigan Upper Peninsula. ‘Retail America’ automatically assumed any furniture had to be...what had that sales clerk called it? Rustic. Yeah. Hell, he’d get a splinter in his foot the first time he propped his feet up on one of those tables to relax.

So he made do with his lone suede couch and the mission-style coffee table he’d made from an oak tree that lightning had struck down in his back forty last summer. He liked his stuff smooth, soft, comfortable...just the way he liked his men.

Graham sat his drink down a little too hard, splashing Coke on the small pine folding table he’d arranged for his meal. He cursed under his breath and headed back into the kitchen for a napkin. What the hell was it about Christmas that made him wish for what he didn’t deserve?

Cripes.

Even if there had been no Trent, he held no delusions about his ability to get a man. He’d been lucky that Trent had wanted him. Graham hated that his hair was always unruly, not to mention stick straight and shit brown. His eyes didn’t even have the decency to be something amazing like blue or green, though his parents both had blue eyes. Nope. Again...shit brown. And he was built wrong, too. His mom called him lithe, but that was just a fancy word for too damn skinny.

Nothing any of the pretties wanted to look at, that’s for sure.

Sometimes a mate bond can be damned inconvenient...as well as crucial to survival when a murderer sets his sights on one of the pair.

As if life isn't tough enough for a half Fae, half butterfly shifter, Tate is thrown for a loop when his mate turns out to be a reclusive Lynx shifter. Cain is focused on tracking his brother’s killer, and stumbling across his mate at the same time he finds the murderer wasn’t in his plans. Especially when the discovery means the killer gets away.

Sparks fly between the Lynx and the halfling even though neither wants to cave to a fated-mate bond. But when a serial murderer comes after Cain, Tate must call up powers he rarely uses to save them both.

 Mark's Opening Gambit
by
Lee Brazil

The son of a wealthy business man, Mark Addison is an expert at chess and hiding. Mason Grant labors with his hands in a menial position; he's open about who he is and what he wants in ways that terrify Mark. . Their paths shouldn't have crossed, but now that they have...

They came from different backgrounds, yet each adheres to his own version of family duty and responsibility. One would make any sacrifice for his family's well being. For Mason Grant that means leaving school at sixteen and working hard while living as a man of integrity to set an example for his brothers.

The other would sacrifice anything to keep his family life calm. If that means hiding who he really is from his high society, narrow-minded parents, then that's what Mark Addison will do. He just wants to run his shop, host a few tournaments, play a few games of chess.

When Mason meets fussy, precise chess tournament director Mark, he isn't expecting much more than a few hours of uncomfortable sleep in his car while his brother plays.

One disdainful look from Mark changes that.
